Herodion Fortress

#July Travel Support Event Located about 12km southeast of Bethlehem, Herodion is a fortress built on a hill 830m above sea level, and is known to have been built by King Herod in 24 BC. From Herodion Hill, you can look down on the cityscape of Jerusalem and Bethlehem, and on a clear day, you can even see the Dead Sea.
