Explore Le Marais, the hippest arrondissement of Paris~

Whenever I visit Paris, Le Marais is my go-to neighborhood—charming, walkable, and full of local character. On my most recent 3-day stay, I didn’t need to take a single cab or use public transport—everything I wanted was just a short stroll away. Skip the tourist-heavy Louvre and Eiffel Tower; this is where Parisians and in-the-know expats actually spend their time! Where I stayed: Le Mareuil Hotel - #paris A gem of a boutique hotel. The view from the balcony was stunning—definitely ask for a room on a higher floor to soak in the best sights. Where I ate & drank: Pontochoux Café – French desserts with a subtle Japanese twist. Absolutely delicious. Dreamin Man – A cozy, buzzing café where locals sip coffee out on the street. Great vibes and excellent coffees. Little Red Door– Ranked among the World’s 50 Best Bars. Friendly staff, great cocktails, and a welcoming atmosphere. Buddy Buddy– This spot turned me into a peanut butter fanatic! Their peanut butter coffee is a must-try. It’s near Canal Saint-Martin—ideal for a scenic post-coffee walk. Les Enfants du Marché – A wine bar tucked inside a local market, serving casually elevated French cuisine. The gorgonzola mussels and pâté are absolute standouts—don’t leave without trying them. Le Marais is full of hidden gems and local charm—an absolute must if you want to experience the real Paris.
