Tappia Squid Fishing Cafe Fishing

Today, we traveled from Bangkok to Pattaya because we wanted to do an activity, which was squid fishing. We started at Bali Hai Pier. We walked along the way and saw booths from each shop selling tickets for the boat until we found Tappia Floating Cafe Pattaya. The price is 400 baht/person for the speedboat to and from the cafe. The boat leaves in turns. We waited at the pier for about 15 minutes before boarding the boat. Everyone must wear a life jacket for safety. When we arrived at Tappia Floating Cafe Pattaya, the boat shook a bit. After a while, you will get used to it. Squid fishing rods are free. You can inform the staff standing on the boat. However, during the time we went, there were few squid fish, so we paid an additional 100 baht to use a fishing rod to catch squid. We got 2 fish and had the shop make sashimi for us. Here, if you catch your own fish, there is no charge. While waiting, we ordered some food to eat. The pork with basil was delicious, but the shrimp cakes were not good. #visitpattaya
