Seafood heaven in Pattaya

Naklua fish market in Pattaya has a huge variety of fresh (live and dead) and dried seafood for sale. Anyone with an interest in seafood should go to this wet market and explore all that is on offer. An astonishing choice of fresh seafood is on offer, from exotic fish to weird shellfish. There are also dried seafood which can be bought and kept for long periods of time (but you need to know how to cook it). Once you have your prized purchase, you can take it to the small shops or restaurant around the market to have it cooked to your liking (simple grilled or BBQ, or cooked in a Tom Yum broth for example). Be warned, it is really busy at all times during the day and it is definitely wet! So don’t wear your best shoes). It’s easy to get to by 10 baht bus from North Pattaya if you don’t have a car or motorbike.
