They were hiding! Lake District less known secret!

Having booked to stay in Kirby Stephens, number 1 on the list was to see a red squirrel in the UK. We'd never seen any before! For two days we were unsuccessful, no one knows why. Despite going to the places they were often seen. Then by chance we read a review about a nearby hotel where the squirrels could be seen running across the lawns. So we headed towards Shap Wells hotel thinking we might have to buy coffee just to see squirrels. Wrong! There is a public area nearby with space to park. Completely free. As it got later the squirrels came out!#redsquirrels #lakedistrict ##looking ##whereareyou #familytrip
