Ancient site, Tham Sam

#100 ways to travel It is a beautiful and unusual ancient site. The place may not be very big. On the way in, you will see a pond and on the other side, there is clear water flowing through. It is very fun to play. When you go in, you will see paintings on the limestone walls. There are paintings of giants, flowers and women in literature. It is very beautiful. You can go into the cave further, but it is a bit dark and not very well-known. It is a public place with no admission fee.

#getgoing2025 You start with the bamboo rafting( I’d say this took about 30 minutes) then return to their main house and have a small snack ( water & watermelon) from here you go to the sea turtle conservation centre located in the Royal Navy base, completed by a waterfall. Our tour guide was so amazing- he knew a lot of information about the turtles lifespan, customary etc, our rower for the bamboo raft was Em he was so great! Kept showing us where the snakes were hidden etc The waterfall is beautiful but it’s small, you’re able to swim in it very rocky area of course. All in all I’d book this excursion again !
