Ekkachai Bridge, Songkhla-Pattalung connection

The 80th Anniversary Chalermprakiat Bridge or Ekkachai Bridge was built in the auspicious year of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 80th birthday, December 5, 2007. It is approximately 5.5 kilometers long and is the longest bridge across a lake in Thailand. It starts from Thale Noi, Khuan Khanun District, Phatthalung Province, to Ranot District, Songkhla Province. Along the way, you will see the scenery and the abundance of nature on both sides of Thale Noi. There are also many viewpoints on the bridge where you can park your car and enjoy the view along both sides of the road. Thale Noi is also home to many types of water birds. You can see water birds flying around in the evening.
