Si Thep Ancient City... is about to become a world heritage site
ðïļ
Who loves history, raise your hand, don't miss it.
This city can be called the city of gods.
Si Thep Historical Park, Si Thep District, Phetchabun Province
It is older than Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
Around 1,800 years old, it combines Dvaravati and Khmer styles.
As soon as you enter the area, I can tell you that it is very beautiful.
Both the green surroundings and the cleanliness make it worth walking around.
This place is well-maintained. I feel happy for the people of Phetchabun.
Here are some of the must-see spotsð
01 Khao Khlang Nok, shaped like a large stepped pyramid
02 Prang Rishi, with a Shiva lingam, pieces of the ox of Nandi, and a lintel
03 Sa Kaeo, where Pallava inscriptions and pottery were found
04 Sa Khwan, one of the 108 sacred wells in Thailand
05 Prang Sri Thep, around the 16th-17th Buddhist century
06 Khao Khlang Nai, located in the inner city, also has a statue of a dwarf
07 Prang Song Phi Nong, with a lintel carved with the image of Uma Mahesuan
08 Sri Thep Shrine, a sacred object of the people of Sri Thep
09 Khao Thammarat, inside there are carvings of Buddhas from the Dvaravati period
10 Antiquities, human skeletons, elephants, bronze bracelets
Finally...all the ancient sites in Thailand are uniquely beautiful
Waiting for everyone to go and experience and appreciate the beauty
