Reverend Father Bueng Sam Phan

Luang Pho Bueng Sam Phan, Phetchabun Province 🌿🪷🙏It is a bronze Buddha statue in meditation posture, 19 inches wide and 31 inches high. It is assumed that it was created in the late Sukhothai period and early U Thong period. It was found submerged in the Bueng Sam Phan River. It is possible that the Buddha statue was brought there and then a boat accident occurred, causing the property and Buddha statue to sink. Later, the villagers helped each other to bring the Buddha statue out of the river and invited it to Wat Pho Thong or Wat Khong Somphon at present.
