Maya Bay

Maya Bay is located on Phi Phi Leh Island, the second largest island in the Phi Phi Islands, Krabi Province. The sea water is as bright green as emeralds. The sand in Maya Bay is very fine and white like sugar. It is very soft to walk on. - However, Maya Bay has been closed to tourists since June 1, 2018 to restore its beautiful nature. Maya Bay just reopened on January 1, 2022. This year, we were very lucky when we went on holiday and it opened just in time, so we had the chance to visit. - In addition to its unique natural beauty, Maya Bay is also the location chosen by Hollywood as the filming location for the movie “The Beach” (2000). Maya Bay is another place in Thailand that tourists from all over the world want to visit at least once. #MissingNature
