Phu Khao Kaew Temple, Ubon Ratchathani

Wat Phu Khao Kaew is located on a hill. Inside the temple, there is a beautiful chapel decorated with glazed tiles throughout the building. It is in the Thai art style. The roof is a structure without a gable, with four levels in the front and back covered with terracotta tiles. It is decorated with gables, raka leaves, and hongs. The eaves are supported by a gable in the shape of a naga around. The middle of the roof is decorated with a golden castle spire. The gable is carved with stucco in a beautiful, graceful, and curved stem pattern, which blends in with the lotus columns, which are made in the Indian art style. Inside the chapel, there are high relief images above the doors and windows, which tell stories and models of important chedis in Thailand. They also tell the history of each chedi in brief.
