Wat Chaiwatthanaram: The Beauty of Ayutthaya

Wat Chaiwatthanaram is one of the most beautiful and important temples in Ayutthaya. It was built by King Prasat Thong in 1600 to dedicate to his mother. The architecture features a high main prang surrounded by 8 smaller prangs on the same base. The temple was once abandoned before being restored to its present beauty.
