Shrine of Lady Soi Dok Mak, Ayutthaya

😊Hello friends, today I traveled to the South and came to pay homage to the deity at the Shrine of Mae Soi Dok Mak in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. 🙏🙏👍 🔆The shrine has a history that tells that the King of China granted his daughter, Nang Soi Dok Mak, to marry King Sai Nam Phueng, the King of Ayutthaya. He arranged a ship procession to send Nang Soi Dok Mak to Ayutthaya. When the ship procession arrived, she saw only ministers waiting to welcome her, but did not see Prince Sai Nam Phueng, who was preparing inside. She was upset that she was not welcomed with proper dignity and refused to get off the ship. When King Sai Nam Phueng got on the ship to invite her himself, she complained to him. King Sai Nam Phueng said, "If you don't want to get on, stay here." Hearing this, she was very upset. She held her breath until she died on the ship. 🍀 ☀️King Sai Nam Phueng was very sad. His Majesty ordered the cremation of the queen and set up a shrine to commemorate her love and mourning.🌹 ⛩The atmosphere inside the shrine is a two-story building. The statue of the goddess Soi Dok Mak is on the upper floor. The shrine is decorated in Chinese style and there are many other deities for worship, my friends.🔔 📣It is believed that the goddess Soi Dok Mak will grant those who come to worship and ask for blessings happiness and success, especially if they come to ask for blessings in matters of love and a partner. If they have a steadfast heart, their wishes will often come true. Or those who want to have children often come to ask for blessings from the goddess as well.
