Famous temple, famous sacred objects, pay respect to Luang Pho Ruay 🙏

Wat Tako is a well-known temple because it is the residence of Luang Por Ruay, a famous monk from the old capital. From his many experiences in many aspects and being a monk with beautiful conduct who follows the teachings of the Lord Buddha, he was ordained as a novice at Wat Tako until he was old enough to be ordained as a monk at Wat Tako. He was a monk who developed and brought prosperity to Wat Tako for decades. Phra Khru Sunthon Thammaniwit (Luang Por Ruay Pasathiko) passed away in 2017 at the age of 95 and 76 years as a monk. His disciples kept his remains for 100 days. Then, when the coffin was opened on October 30, 2018, it was found that Luang Por Ruay’s remains had not decayed. Therefore, they kept them in a glass coffin so that his disciples and the public could come and pay homage at the Pasathiko Mahathat Chedi. On the day we went, the road in front of the temple was under construction. We had to circle around and park behind the temple. Along the way, there were officers who would direct us. The parking lot behind the temple is very spacious. You can choose to park as you like. After parking, you can walk into the temple yourself or wait for the temple's shuttle. The parking lot has both a dirt field and a cement field for you to choose from. The temple area is very spacious, clean and shady. When you enter the area behind the temple, the first place you must stop is the large statue of Luang Por, which is located above the building near the parking lot. The next place is the roundabout with a large golden chicken statue, which has a bathroom near this place. Then we cross the road, pass the temple gate, and go inside. You will enter various merit-making points, such as tiles, rice, or floating candles according to your birth date. When you walk further in, you will see a pond with Naga statues surrounding the pond on both sides. Inside the pavilion in the middle of the pond, there is a green statue of the Great Emperor and a place to make offerings to Luang Por Ruay. How to get to Wat Tako, Ayutthaya By car🚘 The first route is to take the Asia-Ayutthaya route, heading straight to the north. Pass Suvarnabhumi University, then go straight until you reach the bridge over the Pa Sak River, then drive under the bridge (if you cross the bridge, you must turn into Bang Pa-in Market and pass Nakhon Luang District, but don't be alarmed because the roads are all connected). Then turn left into Bo Phong Road, drive straight until you reach the traffic light, then turn right towards Phachi District (which if you drive past and enter Bang Pa-in Market, you will meet at this point as well). Then drive straight until you pass Wat Suek (the temple is on the left). Drive straight for another 1.8 kilometers, you will see the sign for the temple, drive straight for another 6.4 kilometers, you will reach the temple. Route 2: For those who come via Saraburi, drive straight to Phachi District.
