The Pagoda for People Born in the Year of the Tiger

Chao Hae Phrathat is an ancient site over a thousand years old. The golden pagoda is octagonal with twelve indented corners, covered with gourd flower gold leaf, in the Chiang Saen style of art. Inside the pagoda, there are relics such as the Buddha's breastbone, the Buddha's hair, and the left arm of the Buddha. In addition to the Chao Hae Phrathat, there are other interesting things to see within the temple, such as 'Luang Phor Chao Hae' or 'Phra Chao Hae', the ancient principal Buddha image that is several hundred years old, in the art styles of Lanna, Chiang Saen, and Sukhothai. It is assumed to have been built after the construction of the pagoda.
