Stopped by De-Po early one morning when the shop had just opened. The weather that day was quite gloomy and drizzling so I didn't expect much @ but luckily the sun was shining a little and through the windows of the shop, Leon took the opportunity to capture a few pretty corners of this famous cafe in Hue. Leon liked the atmosphere of the shop from the moment he entered. The space is classically gentle from the quiet brown tones. The old wooden tables, the time-stained chairs and the nostalgic decor here combined with retro music will definitely bring you a feeling of comfort & relaxation. Even though it was during the week, the shop was still very crowded with morning coffee customers. Especially when coming to De-Po in the cool March, everyone loves to sit outside on the balcony watching the bustling streets below Dong Ba market. The menu is quite affordable compared to cafes in Saigon. The most expensive drink is only 49k. There is a downside, Leon's caramel macchiato is too sweet because of the caramel sauce, making you want to get a sugar shock after the first sip. As for the egg cream coffee, it's okay. When you get to Dong Ba market, park your car in the market's parking lot, and when you order a drink, remember to stamp the free parking stamp!
