An Unforgettable Cable Cart Trip to Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park

Getting There - The Cable Cart Terminal is located at the southern part of Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam. It is easily accessible via bus, taxi, bike, etc. from any location on the island. Attractions - The Cable Cart holds the World Record for being the longest three cable cart over the ocean. It is a staggering 7.9km ride at about 30km/h. It is a must visit when on staying in Phu Quoc. The Cable Cart ride ends on Pineapple Island where there is a waterpark with many slides, theme park with a great roller coaster, entertainment and many more. Hotels - You can stay at any hotel on Phu Quoc Island and make a day trip out of this or you also have a choice of staying in one of the hotels on Pineapple Island. There is currently still a bit of construction going on as they are expanding and adding more great hotels and entertainment. Food & Restaurants - There are a few small stalls selling coffee, craft beer, snack, etc. If you are going for the day trip I truly recommend buying a ticket which includes the buffet at Mango Restaurant. The spread is gigantic, there is something of everything. When we went we literally just had the buffet meal and that was enough until we got back to our hotel the evening. Shopping - There are a few shops selling swimsuits, towels and basics. Then on your way out you literally walk past several stores selling memorabilia and souvenirs which can be bought to remember the trip. #100waysoftravel #island #phuquoc
