Phu Quoc Star Beach: Encountering the Stunning Seaside

📌 Preparations Before Departure The Phu Quoc sun is intensely passionate. Before going to Star Beach, sun protection is the top priority. I prepared high-SPF sunscreen, a wide-brimmed sun hat, polarized sunglasses, and light, breathable sun-protective clothing in advance. In addition, a pair of comfortable beach shoes allowed me to stroll freely on the beach without burning my feet on the hot sand. I also brought a swimsuit and goggles, ready to enjoy a swim in the sea. To capture these beautiful moments, a camera and a fully charged phone are essential. 🚗 Transportation Guide There are various ways to get to Star Beach from the main towns of Phu Quoc. I chose to rent a motorbike and ride along the coastal road. The scenery along the way was picturesque, with the sea breeze caressing my face—it was incredibly pleasant. Along the way, I could also see local fishermen working by the sea, experiencing the rich island life. If you don't want to drive yourself, you can also take a local taxi or book a hotel shuttle service, both of which are very convenient. 🌟 First Encounter with Star Beach When I first saw Star Beach, I was stunned by its beauty. The fine, white sand shimmered under the sunlight, like a silver ribbon inlaid along the seaside. On the distant horizon, the azure seawater blended seamlessly with the sky, making it hard to distinguish where the sky ended and the sea began. Waves surged in one after another, gently lapping against the beach, creating a pleasant sound, like a beautiful melody played by nature. 🌊 Activities 1. Beach Stroll I couldn't wait to take off my shoes and step onto the soft sand. The fine sand flowed between my toes, tickling and incredibly comfortable. I walked slowly along the coastline, feeling the sea breeze and watching the waves surge in and retreat. Occasionally, I could see small crabs scurrying across the beach, their tiny figures adorable. I picked up some beautiful shells, intending to take them home as souvenirs of this trip. 2. Water Sports Star Beach is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts. I saw many people surfing, standing on their surfboards, jumping with the waves, their movements incredibly stylish. I couldn't resist renting a surfboard and trying it out under the guidance of an instructor. Although I kept falling at first, through continuous attempts, I gradually mastered some skills and was able to glide on the waves for a short distance. The feeling was both thrilling and exciting. Besides surfing, you can also enjoy windsurfing, banana boating, and other activities, each full of fun. 3. Snorkeling Exploration Changing into my swimsuit and putting on my goggles and snorkel, I plunged into the sea. The underwater world was truly marvelous! Colorful coral reefs swayed gracefully in the water, and various tropical fish shuttled among them. Their colors were bright and eye-catching, with red, yellow, and blue, like a group of swimming gems. I reached out to touch them, but they playfully swam away. During snorkeling, I felt like I had entered a dreamlike underwater world, making me linger. 🍱 Food Experience After all the fun, it was time to savor the local cuisine. There are many seafood restaurants near Star Beach. I found a well-reviewed restaurant and sat down. The seafood here is freshly caught from the sea, incredibly fresh. I ordered grilled lobster. The lobster meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly grilled. Paired with the special sauce, the taste was simply divine. There was also steamed grouper, the fish as white as snow, melting in the mouth, its original flavor unforgettable. In addition, I tried Vietnamese spring rolls and mango sticky rice. The spring roll wrappers were thin as cicada wings, filled with various vegetables and meats, offering a refreshing taste. The mango sticky rice was sweet and soft, the sweetness of the mango perfectly complementing the softness of the sticky rice, making me want more. 🌅 Sunset Scenery As evening approached, the sun gradually sank, painting the entire sky orange-red. The sunlight sprinkled on the sea surface, shimmering like scattered golden diamonds. I found a beach chair and sat down, quietly admiring the beautiful sunset. As the sun slowly set, the colors of the sky kept changing, from orange-red to pink, and finally to purple. On the distant horizon, fishing boats slowly returned, forming a picturesque scene. At this moment, I took out my camera, pressed the shutter, and captured this unforgettable moment. 💡 Travel Tips The UV rays at Star Beach are very strong, so be sure to take sun protection measures and reapply sunscreen regularly. When participating in water sports, follow the instructor's guidance to ensure your safety. When enjoying seafood, eat in moderation to avoid gastrointestinal discomfort. Star Beach is exceptionally beautiful at sunset. Remember to find a good spot in advance to enjoy the stunning scenery. Star Beach is the most unforgettable place of my Phu Quoc trip.
