Khao Ko Si Le Temple, Phra That In Khwaen

Wat Ban Ko Sire, Wat Khao Ko Sire or Wat Ko Sire was established on 17 June 2005 and received the royal charter of the boundary on 9 August 2010. It was built by Luang Pho Supha Kantasilo with support from devotees. The highlight of the temple is the chapel enshrining the reclining Buddha on the peak of Ko Sire and the replica of Phra That In Kew, which is enshrined in the ordination hall. It is a large golden stone 5.5 meters high, built by Mon craftsmen and donated by the villagers. There was a ceremony to invite the Naga to protect and guard it in early May 2016. Phra That In Kew is also considered a sacred object that the Burmese people respect and worship. It is the sacred Buddha image for those born in the year of the dog. The temple also has a Buddha image in Burmese attire.
