Phuket Memory Hotel Experience

Recently, I went to Phuket and stayed at the On On Memory Hotel in Phuket Town. This hotel is located at 19 Phang-Nga Rd. Talad Yai, which is perfect for exploring the charm of Phuket Town's Old Town. Its location is really convenient, with many cafes, restaurants, and attractions nearby. 🗺️ In this old town of Phuket, the On On Memory Hotel is like a unique landscape. The hotel is decorated in a retro style from the early 20th century, and walking into the lobby feels like traveling back in time. The staff is very friendly and helpful in answering all kinds of questions. Although the hotel does not have its own restaurant, it offers a public area where you can enjoy free coffee and Thai snacks. ☕🍪 The room is really comfortable, with a large bed that is just the right firmness, and the room design feels very quaint and tasteful. Although the room is a bit small, it is well-equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator, and other facilities. However, the walls of the room are indeed very thin, and the soundproofing is not very good, so you can often hear the sounds from the next room, and sometimes the furniture moving next door will vibrate, which affects rest. 😴 The area around the hotel is a food paradise! There are many famous restaurants and cafes within a 3-5 minute walk. My favorite Tu Kab Khao restaurant is diagonally across from the hotel, and I highly recommend it. In addition, you can take a stroll to the nearby night market to taste street food, which is a must-try. There is also Kim's Spa, which is within walking distance, with reasonable prices and a very comfortable massage experience. 🍽️🍜 Although the breakfast options at this hotel are limited, there are many small cafes that open early nearby, just a few steps away, and you can start a new food adventure every morning. The hotel does not provide slippers, but this small detail can be overlooked, and overall it is still good value for money. 🏢✨ In conclusion, if you don't mind the noise issue, the On On Memory Hotel is still highly recommended. Its excellent location, comfortable rooms, and retro atmosphere make you feel like you are in a different era, and it is the best choice for those who love history and culture. Next time I come to Phuket, I will still choose to stay here, and I just hope to get a room with better soundproofing next time. 🏨💫
