Melia Mai Khao Phuket – Enjoy Thai hospitality

During this trip to Phuket, Thailand, we stayed at Melia Phuket Mai Khao. The hotel is in a very good location, close to the airport, about 30 minutes drive. The surrounding environment is particularly beautiful and very quiet. Compared with the hustle and bustle of Patong, it is really a good place to relax. 🌴🦩 The hotel is very close to Mai Khao Beach, within walking distance, and there are many restaurants around, such as Rim Nam Pool Bar and Taurus Restaurant. It is indeed a great holiday destination. The overall decoration of the hotel is relatively new, with a simple and elegant style. Each room has an independent swimming pool and good privacy. In terms of the stay experience, from reception to room service, I felt the warm Thai hospitality. Arriving at the hotel we were met by the front desk receptionist who was very polite. Although there were some minor communication barriers, their enthusiasm made up for it all. The room is large and very well equipped. It is worth mentioning that free water and tea were provided in our room, and children's items were thoughtfully placed there, which is very suitable for family travel. The cleanliness of the room was also very good, a big thumbs up! I experienced the hotel's YHI Spa. The Thai massage was very professional, and both the service and the environment were very satisfactory. The spa was refreshing, relaxing and well worth the money. The hotel's swimming pool and gym facilities are also new and easy to use, especially the private swimming pool, which makes people feel private and comfortable. The breakfast is very rich, with bread, coffee and fruit. However, one time I ordered eggs benny, there was plastic in it. Although they apologized and sent us orange juice later, I was still a little disappointed and hope they can improve it. Traveling is also very convenient. The hotel can help call a taxi, and most of the surrounding attractions can be easily reached. However, it was difficult to get through to the front desk a few times during the day, which needs to be improved. Although we encountered some minor problems during our stay, overall, the hotel's hardware facilities, geographical location and overall atmosphere are very good. Special thanks to manager Anna, who always responded promptly when we had any needs and provided a lot of thoughtful suggestions and help. Overall, Melia Mai Khao is a very suitable hotel for family and couples vacation, with beautiful environment, good service and complete facilities. There are some minor shortcomings, such as the breakfast needs to be improved and the front desk phone is not easy to get through, but it does not affect the overall experience. Next time I come to Phuket, I will consider staying here again. 🏖️😊
