“Baan Phra Phithak Chinpracha”, a luxurious mansion

#SongkranTrip “Ban Phra Phithak Chinpracha”, a cultural heritage of Phuket. Ban Phra Phithak Chinpracha is a Sino-Portuguese style mansion in Phuket. It was built in the late reign of King Rama V by Phra Phithak Chinpracha, a successful Chinese tin mining magnate. This 119-year-old mansion has welcomed important people during their vacations in Phuket and is still one of the many Neoclassical heritage mansions in Phuket. This mustard yellow mansion with alternating white and green colors is a Phuket heritage. It is located in the heart of Phuket’s old town, a historical place. The house has been meticulously restored with mosaic tiles and teak floors to preserve it as much as possible.
