From the moment I stepped inside, I was taken in by the dark wood interiors, vintage tiles, and soft lighting that set the stage for a meal that felt both refined and deeply comforting. The braised pork belly was melt-in-the-mouth, subtly sweet and savory, while the stir-fried local vegetables and spicy shrimp paste dip brought a punchy contrast. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and there was even live music playing softly in the background, adding to the warm, convivial atmosphere. The giant lobster sculpture near the entrance was quirky but somehow fitting—this place doesn’t take itself too seriously, despite the awards and acclaim.
