Wat Silasupharam (New Temple of Luang Pu Supha)

Wat Luang Pu Supa or Wat Sil Supharam (Wat Mai Luang Pu Supa) is a temple with a famous monk, Luang Pu Supa. He is 115 years old and has lived through 5 reigns. Luang Pu Supa is both a practicing monk and a top monk in Thailand. His sacred powers are widely known. He has a famous amulet, the Maha Lap Spider, which merchants must have in their shops. It is a subject that he received from Luang Pu Suk of Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao, his teacher. He also has a magical crocodile that has the power to protect against thieves.
