I loved that it was open 24 hours, so I went in the evening when the air was cooler (and then again during the daytime to take pictures but it was too hot to get into the water). There were only a few people there, mostly locals quietly relaxing, which made it feel even more special. The pools were the perfect temperature - hot enough to soothe muscles but not scalding. Sitting there in the quiet darkness, listening to the jungle sounds around me, was one of the most relaxing experiences I've had. If you ever want an authentic, no-frills hot spring experience without any touristy extras, this is the place. Just bring a towel and maybe a flashlight if you go late - it's wonderfully simple and serene.
