A photogenic spot in Pingtan, the "Little Iceland" - Jingsha Black Cave

Self-driving is the preferred method. There is a free parking lot near many snack stalls. It's easy to park if you go during off-peak hours. Taking a taxi is not recommended, as there are no other attractions nearby. 👍️Experience: The usual impression of the seaside is sunshine, sea, and white sandy beaches. However, this gloomy, cool black reef beach with a mysterious atmosphere has a unique beauty that attracts curious young people. You have to walk down a very steep slope. My parents and I were quite tired walking with the dog. We crossed a large area of uneven reefs, which were very slippery. If you're not careful, you might twist your ankle. My dog, just like me, was fearless and agile, jumping between the rocks like a mountain goat. My mom gave up and didn't go any further. My dad and I walked all the way into the cave. The black cave is not very big. I have to admire the power of the internet celebrity effect. It's just an ordinary black sand beach cave, not particularly large, but it's been hyped online as "Little Iceland." I have to say, it is indeed photogenic, especially when shooting from inside the cave outwards. The silhouette is beautiful. It's a great place for taking photos. Wearing a swimsuit or tight-fitting clothes would enhance the effect. I didn't do my homework beforehand. We went early in the morning when not many people knew about this place. We were lucky that there were only one or two people in the cave, and we took many satisfying photos. Overall, Jingsha is not very entertaining and doesn't require a special visit, but photography enthusiasts shouldn't miss it. 💗Other tips: Be sure to check the tide timetable online in advance. You can only enter the cave to take photos during low tide. It is not recommended to go during high tide. Wear non-slip and moisture-proof shoes and be prepared for some hiking. It is not recommended for the elderly or children. Those who enjoy tide pooling can find some small treasures in the reefs after low tide.
