Hidden Beaches around Bangkok, Thailand: Hua Hin and Pranburi

If you want to go to the beach close to Bangkok, there are two directions: Pattaya in the southeast and Hua Hin in the southwest. If you like lively nightlife, Pattaya is definitely your first choice, but if you want to experience the quiet and slow-paced life of Thai locals like me, Pranburi in the south of Hua Hin is definitely a treasure! This is the birthplace of the world’s first Six Senses hotel. There are no tour groups here and few domestic courses are available. We spent two days in Pranburi and didn't meet a single Chinese person. How to get there: You can take a bus or train from Bangkok to Hua Hin, then take a taxi and locate the Sheraton Pranburi Villas. But the best solution is to take a taxi directly from Bangkok. The journey takes three hours. We used Bolt to take a taxi and the final price was only over 300 yuan! Where to stay: As the home of the world's first Six Senses hotel, if your budget allows, I definitely recommend staying at Six Senses (now renamed Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas). We stayed in the only two-bedroom villa with sea view, which was absolutely amazing! The second is Wyndham Pranburi. If you have a normal budget, you can search Ban Panapran. There are many hotels of different grades nearby. The sea in Pranburi is blue-green, and with the good light and beautiful sunset, it really gives a feeling of peace and tranquility. The prices here are really low! You don't have to worry about not finding food. The hotel we ate at, all inclusive of three meals, only cost 1500🐷 per person. You can grab takeout nearby and each dish only costs fifty or sixty🐷! ! ! Thai milk tea costs over 30🐷 a cup and it’s delivered directly to the hotel. I’m so proud of it! You can rent a barbecue pot and barbecue at the beach like the locals, or you can go to the night market to eat. A large box of super-large prawns costs 150🐷, and scallops cost 10🐷. Similar touching prices are everywhere! There are two 711s in the town, which is very convenient.
