Grandmother's House Cafe

The cafe named "Grandmother's House" offers more than just coffee and desserts. It serves a variety of dishes, including Western-style breakfasts and flavorful traditional Thai cuisine. For coffee lovers, the cafe provides a selection of coffee beans sourced from different regions in Thailand. For instance, we chose the "Mae On" coffee beans from Chiang Mai province. Once brewed, the coffee has a distinct banana aroma, a smooth taste, and natural sweetness that requires no additional sweeteners. As for the hearty breakfast, we ordered the cafe's signature dish, the Grandmother's House Breakfast. It comes with generous portions, including sausages, bacon, grilled mushrooms, salad, a large slice of bread, and eggs cooked to your preference—fried, scrambled, or, as we chose, a soft and creamy omelet. It was delicious! Plus, a small cup of yogurt is served to cleanse your palate. The cafe is decorated in a vintage style, featuring an old wooden house with antique collectibles on display. Located not far from the sea, it's a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The food and drinks are reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Highly recommend this cafe—it's worth a visit! :)
