|Hometown of Famous Generals. Yang Hucheng Former Residence, also known as Yang Hucheng Mansion or Zhiyuan, was built in 1934, covering an area of 1,376 square meters. It is a typical Guanzhong "four-entry" building. The former residence faces south, with east and west courtyards. The east courtyard is the main courtyard, including the entrance hall, two side rooms, the main hall, the female pavilion (with a veranda), two side rooms, and the back room. The west courtyard is a garden with a study and a servant's room. The former residence houses some of the furniture used by Yang Hucheng during his lifetime and gifts given to his mother, Mrs. Sun, by relatives and friends on her 60th birthday.
