The century-old architectural complex of De'anli is a marvel of Chaozhou architectural art

📍To delve into the architecture of Puning residential buildings, one must mention De'anli. It is the family settlement of the Fang Yao family, the admiral of the Guangdong naval forces during the Qing Dynasty, with a history of over 150 years. 🔗Throughout the annals of history, despite the vicissitudes of time, De'anli has preserved its architecture quite intact. With its large scale and complete range of architectural styles, it is considered a marvel of Chaozhou architectural art and is also a rare example of a mansion-style ancient village in China. 🏠The entire architectural complex covers an area of 63,000 square meters, with a built area of 32,000 square meters. Inside the fortress, there are official halls, ancestral halls, Buddhist halls, studies, storerooms, attics, etc., totaling 773 rooms, with architectural patterns such as 'Hundreds of Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix', 'Four-Horse Carriage', 'Four Gold Points', and 'Descending Tiger'.
