In memory of the indispensable artisans of Carnival

#ThailandFlightEvent Armando Genco was born in 1929 and passed away in 1988. He was an indispensable craftsman of the Putignano Carnival Festival while he was alive. His original occupation was a goldsmith, but he spent his life making sculptures called cartapesta for the Carnival Festival. He worked for the splendid Carnival parades of the Carnival for about 30 years, and his skills are being passed down by his junior craftsmen.
