Days here are quiet — most people join tours or relax in their resorts. At night, the streets come alive. 🏖️ Safety & Arrival Sharm is located on the Sinai Peninsula, considered a safer region than mainland Egypt. On the bus from Cairo, we were stopped 4–5 times for security checks. Locals were questioned more thoroughly, but tourists had no issues. The trip took around 7–8 hours instead of 5 due to these checkpoints. 📍 Places I Visited * Old Market: Great for shopping local crafts, spices, and souvenirs. The large mosque here is only 10 years old but very photogenic. * Farsha Café: One of the most iconic spots in Sharm. Come around sunset or when the lights are on for the best vibe. Earlier in the day is best for taking photos without crowds. * Naama Bay: The heart of Sharm’s nightlife. Restaurants, cafes, and bars stay open late. Be aware — some cafes might sneak entertainment fees into your bill. * Sinai Grand Casino: Casinos here offer free drinks if you play small games. Even $5–10 can keep you entertained. 🤿 My First Dive I tried scuba diving for the first time here and loved it! The underwater life was vibrant. I paid $25 for the full experience, including a boat trip to White Island. More people = cheaper price. Photo packages cost extra. 🌊 More Things to Do * Ras Muhammad National Park – Great for snorkeling and coral reefs * SOHO Square – A modern area with shopping and nightlife * Shark’s Bay – Relaxing beach with clear waters * Nabq Protected Area – Perfect for nature and birdwatching * Mount Sinai – Hike for sunrise or sunset views * Safari & Bedouin tours – Unique desert experiences Sharm is perfect for unwinding, diving, and exploring nature with ease. #citypassguide
