As my trip in Qingdao was coming to an end, I made a perfect decision—to head to Laoshan Mountain and take the famous No. 618 coastal bus route. It only cost ¥1, and it was undoubtedly the best ¥1 I spent in Qingdao! Starting from Yangkou and heading towards Yaku, the route has 21 stops, each offering a unique scenic gift. No tickets are required, and there's no need to hike up mountains. Just sit by the window and enjoy the breathtaking scenery along the way. It's like a free visual feast. When you reach the final stop, the view is even more stunning, with the entire Qingshan Fishing Village spread out below, peaceful and beautiful. How to get there: 🚌 Public transportation: If you're starting from the city center, you can take a taxi or bus to Yangkou Station, then transfer directly to the No. 618 coastal bus. Remember to sit on the driver's side of the bus on the way there for the best sea views, and on the other side for the return trip. Choose your seat in advance! 🚗 Driving: If you're driving, navigate to Yangkou Station first, then to Qingshan Fishing Village. You can plan your own itinerary and stop at any scenic spot that catches your eye. Must-see stops: Fanlingqian: Here lies a beautiful beach🏝️, like a hidden paradise, with fine sand and clear water. There's also a castle-like guesthouse by the beach, full of charm. Whether you're strolling along the beach or taking photos in front of the guesthouse, it's a delightful experience. Huangshannan: Along the unique circular road, red houses are scattered, and at the end of the road is the vast sea. The blue sky, red houses, and blue sea create a stunning picture. Every photo you take here is a masterpiece, perfect for sharing on social media. Yaku: Don't rush to leave the terminal station. Walk back about 200 meters, and you'll find the perfect spot to overlook the entire Qingshan Fishing Village.
