Qingdao travel tips!!!!

I've been living in Qingdao for almost half a year, and I've stayed up late to put together this guide to help you avoid tourist traps in Qingdao, including recommendations for food, accommodation, transportation, and itineraries!! (This version has been reviewed by locals)🧐🧐 If you plan to come to Qingdao between March and May, save this post in advance so you don't fall into any tourist traps. This is just my personal opinion! Feel free to add your own suggestions! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me~ 🙇About Transportation: 1🌟Take the high-speed train to Qingdao Railway Station or Qingdao North Railway Station. Don't go to Qingdao West Railway Station, as it's very far from the city center. 2🌟Don't drive! Many roads are one-way streets and parking is difficult. 3🌟Don't rent electric scooters. Qingdao doesn't have non-motorized vehicle lanes, so it's quite dangerous. 4🌟Taking the subway is the best option! 🌸About Food: ☑️You can skip the internet-famous seafood restaurants, or go during off-peak hours, as there are usually long lines💃💃 ☑️If you want to eat seafood, look for restaurants run by local elderly people. They are usually pretty good; you can also go to Tuandao Market and buy your own seafood. There are places in the market that can process it for you on the spot. ☑️I also recommend trying Korean food in Qingdao! It's close to South Korea, so the Korean food here is delicious; also, you must drink beer and eat clams when you come to Qingdao! ☑️Here are a few recommended food landmarks, but I won't recommend specific restaurants, as everyone's tastes are different~ 🌸Food landmarks I often visit: Taidong Pedestrian Street, Zhangzhou 2nd Road, Shanghang Road, Licun Night Market 🌸About Accommodation: ☑️For comfort and cleanliness, choose chain hotels. ☑️Staying near Wusi Square or Qingdao Railway Station is convenient, but it's more expensive during peak season. ☑️If you want to save money, you can stay near Licun subway station, at the intersection of Lines 2 and 3. It's within 1 hour of most attractions, and there's also the Licun Night Market nearby. Prices aren't too high during peak season either. ☑️If you want to stay in a unique guesthouse, you can stay in an old western-style house near Signal Hill or Badaguan. These areas are in the old town, so you can stroll around Xiaoyushan and University Road in the morning and avoid the afternoon crowds. If you want to stay in a guesthouse with an ocean view, you can choose one on Qinyu Road or in Laoshan District. If you have time, I recommend Laoshan District, as there are fewer people and the scenery is more beautiful. 🌸Recommended City Tour Itinerary (3 days, 2 nights, relaxed pace, no detours) ⏰DAY 1: Old Town City Walk + Classic Coastline👍Zhan Bridge/Xiling Gorge—👉St. Michael's Cathedral—👉Signal Hill—👉University Road—👉Xiaoyushan Park—👉Qinyu Road—👉Xiaqingdao Park ⏰DAY 2: Artistic and Boutique + Beer Culture Experience👍 Qingdao Beer Museum—👉No.1 Bathing Beach—👉Badaguan Scenic Area—👉No.2 Bathing Beach—👉Taiping Cape Park—👉Wusi Square ⏰DAY 3: Seaside Stroll👍 Shilaoren Bathing Beach (sunrise)—👉Qingdao Sculpture Garden—👉Love of the Sea Park—👉Wheat Island Park (sunset) !!If you have enough time, I also recommend spending a day each in Huangdao and Laoshan. Although they are a bit far from the city center, the scenery is definitely worth it😍😘 Qingdao is about to enter its most beautiful season.
