Trip to Quanzhou, China 🇨🇳

Quanzhou, China 🇨🇳 is a hidden gem full of history, culture, and stunning photo spots. We visited some of the most scenic places, and I would recommend going at the right time to capture the best light ✨ We visited Kaiyuan Temple early in the morning ⛅️ and I would recommend arriving before 9 AM to capture the soft golden light ✨ illuminating the Twin Pagodas. The temple’s ancient architecture and the towering trees create a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for photos 📸 The stone carvings and intricate wooden details are especially beautiful when the crowds are low 🙌 We explored Luoyang Bridge just before sunset 🌇 and the golden hour light reflecting on the water made for breathtaking photos 📸 The bridge, built in the Song Dynasty, has a unique structure with stone lions guarding its edges. I would recommend bringing a wide-angle lens to capture both the bridge and the surrounding mountains ⛰️ in one frame. West Street comes alive at night with glowing lanterns and traditional Fujian-style buildings. We walked through the street, stopping to take pictures of the red lanterns swaying in the breeze and the small tea 🍵 houses hidden in alleys. I would recommend visiting around 7 PM when the lights ✨ just start to turn on for a magical feel. We explored Chongwu Ancient Town around 10 AM ⛅️ when the sky was clear and the light wasn’t too harsh. This seaside town has well-preserved Ming Dynasty stone walls and a rugged coastline that makes for dramatic photos 📸 I would recommend taking pictures near the old fortress walls and by the sea, where the waves crash against the rocks 🙌 Quanzhou is a city full of history, culture, and incredible photography spots.
