It is over a hundred years old. In addition to being the first temple in Ranong Province, there is also the Chedi Dathu, a Burmese-style pagoda. The base of the pagoda wall is plastered with white cement. The top of the pagoda's umbrella is made of brass and decorated with diamonds. The umbrella is Burmese-style architecture. The builder was Nang Pu Sai Khai, whose husband was U Ao Me, an astrologer in the Burmese royal court.
