A small but beautiful zoo to get up close and personal with Icelandic animals

As an animal lover, the zoo is a must-visit place. This is a very small park but if you like animals then it is clearly worth it. The animals were well cared for and were all happy. We saw some close encounters with Icelandic wildlife – seals, reindeer, mink, Icelandic horses, a “blue” Arctic fox and some farm animals that were kept indoors for the winter along with some very cute critters. I recommend watching the seals being fed, they are quite entertaining. There are cafes and toilet facilities on site, and the prices are not as expensive as those in foreign zoos.
