[Reykjavik, Iceland] Beautiful but ambush maritime museum

I visited a few museums in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, and asked my fellow travelers, and everyone found it awkward. 🥲🥲 The museum introduced this time is the Maritime Museum located on the old wharf. The old pier is full of sightseeing boats, mainly to see the whales. Walk along the pier and you will see the Maritime Museum. 🫣 Most student-priced tickets at Icelandic Museums offer 70% off, probably between HK$70-200. The Maritime Museum focuses on the development of the fishing industry in Iceland. Iceland lacks arable land and relies heavily on imported crops unless dependent on greenhouses. And fishing has been one of Iceland’s main economic lifebloods all the way. The museum will feature the development of the Icelandic fishery, the cod war between Iceland and the UK, ocean sustainability and more. 🫶🏻 But unfortunately the curation is chaotic, with many exhibits scattered east and west without a clear route. For example, the divers' clothing is despite the same theme, but you will see one and a half pieces at the entrance, along the way, and at the exit, very disjointed. At the end, there is an interactive exhibit for everyone to play with. The gameplay is that you pick up a barcode scanner and scan the fish and ingredients on the table and it generates a recipe for you, which is quite interesting. 🐠 Finally the lounge has free coffee with a sea view and a hammock for visitors to enjoy, very comfortable.
