A Stroll in Lage Park, Rio de Janeiro

Lage Park, located at the foot of Christ the Redeemer, is a public park in Rio de Janeiro. Originally, it was the residence of entrepreneur Henrique Lage and his wife, singer Gabriella Besanzoni. In the 1920s, Lage invited an Italian architect to redesign their home, resulting in its current appearance. The Christ the Redeemer statue is situated at the top. This land is a captivating spot that combines natural beauty with cultural and artistic elements. The entrepreneur's residence is open for visits, and while admission is free, registration is required. However, the queue for purely sightseeing and photography can be very long. We opted for the quicker route by dining there, which allowed us faster entry. Although it's a bit pricey, it's worth it for the beautiful photos. After all, traveling is about making some sacrifices for great shots.
