Although the statue of Jesus is shocking, this is my favorite! ❤️ I think there is a treasure in Rio that is more worth visiting than the Christ the Redeemer statue - Sugarloaf Mountain (EN: Sugarloaf Mountain, PT: Pão de Açúcar)! ⛰️ Really, only by standing here can you feel the true soul of Rio! 🌟Small science: It is another iconic sight in Rio de Janeiro and consists of two peaks: the shorter Morro da Urca and the taller Pão de Açúcar (Sugar Loaf Mountain). The two peaks are connected by a cable car. The cable car ride itself is an enjoyment, offering a 360-degree view of Rio! The first peak, Mount Urca, made me linger! You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Rio, and there are bars and food here! I spent several hours here, a Caipirinha, some Pastels (Brazilian snacks), just relaxing on the top of the mountain, feeling the breeze on my face, looking at the scenery in the distance, and all my worries disappeared. Waiting for the lights to come on, when night falls, the whole Rio is lit up! 🌃 Warm reminder, be sure to bring a telephoto lens! Plus, there’s an outdoor DJ! Brazilians really dance wherever they go! During the day, you can bask in the sun and listen to music on the mountain, and the atmosphere is perfect! There is also indoor disco at night! 📷Practical tips: 🚌Transportation: Just search for Sugarloaf Mountain on Uber and you will see the cable car when you get off the bus 🚠Cable car: You can buy tickets online in advance to avoid peak hours! But I went straight there and didn’t have to queue up much, it just depended on my luck! ⏰Best time: It is recommended to go there in the afternoon so that you can experience the sunset and night view at the same time and stay for several hours. It is worth the price of the ticket! 🍔Food: Not many choices, here are some to share: - Terra Brasilis, right near the cable car, but you often have to wait in line for a long time.
