If you visit Weihai, you must go to Rongcheng

🌈🌈 Rongcheng is a beautiful and off-the-beaten-path small town, not as crowded as Weihai, with stunning coastlines, fairytale-like seaweed houses, and the shipwreck of Blueways surrounded by flocks of seagulls—super photogenic! 📷📷 📍Our route followed the coast from south to north, skipping the crowded zoo and Chengshantou. Instead, we visited lesser-known spots like Dongdun Village in Shidao, a completely non-commercialized, original village with almost no tourists. 📍Heading further north is Dongchu Island, where you’ll find homestays (though the conditions might be basic). The island is small, and the seaside is right there—gorgeous and perfect for photos. 📍Continuing north is Baihe Bay, a stunning coastal creek. It’s small but unbelievably beautiful 🌴🌴🌈. 📍Further north is Huaxing Hotel, featuring fairytale-like seaweed houses, a coastal boardwalk, a seawater swimming pool, and the famous Huaxing Bridge—every shot is picture-perfect. The bridge is rarely crowded, so you can walk back and forth for the best angles. 📍Next is the Blueways Shipwreck, close to Naxianghai, where flocks of seagulls gather. Bring some sausages to feed them! The water here is crystal clear, though it gets slightly busier. Stroll along the coast to find quieter spots for photos. In summer, girls can dress up and take plenty of beautiful shots here. 📍Finally, there’s the Weihai Marine Science and Technology Museum in the city.
