Meeting the Happiest Animal in the World

I went to meet the happiest animal in the world🩷. I visited Rottnest Island in Western Australia to see the quokka wallabies☺️ With their big eyes and upturned mouths, they always look like they're smiling, which is why they're called "the happiest animals in the world." Ferries to Rottnest Island depart from Fremantle and Hillarys, and this time I took the ferry from Fremantle⛴️ It takes about 30 minutes by train from Perth Station to Fremantle Station, and about a 10-minute walk from Fremantle Station to the ferry terminal! Two companies operate the ferries: Rottnest Express and Sealink. I've tried both, and I didn't notice much difference in price or service. A 30-minute ferry ride later, you're greeted by the stunning Rottnest Blue🌊 The crystal-clear waters are absolutely breathtaking😆😆 As you walk from the ferry terminal, you'll start spotting quokka wallabies here and there! Once you enter the town, you'll see plenty of them! They're so adorable that I couldn't stop taking pictures📸 Rottnest Island is a small island, so many people rent bicycles to explore. I tried renting a bike once, but with all the hills, it was quite challenging for someone like me who's not very active. For those in the same boat, there's a bus that goes around the island, which I highly recommend! By the way, if you're in Fremantle, I recommend visiting Little Creatures Brewery☺️ They offer a menu where you can sample and compare various types of beer!
