#WinterTravel St. Gallen Cathedral The history of the construction of this cathedral is that in 612 AD, an Irish priest Gallus traveled to this area and fell into a bush. Instead of suffering from pain, he interpreted it as a sign from God that he wanted to build a monastery at this spot. Later, Abbot Otmar (689-759 AD) built the St. Gallen Monastery to dedicate to Father Gallus. In the 9th-11th centuries, the St. Gallen Monastery became a center of religion, culture, and science, which greatly influenced the Western world. When we opened the door to see inside, we were amazed by its magnificent beauty.
