🚩..Wat Yai Chom Prasat is a temple in Village No. 5, Ban Tha Chin, Tambon Tha Chin, Mueang Samut Sakhon District, Samut Sakhon Province. It is located on the banks of the Tha Chin River. It is assumed that it was built since the Ayutthaya period, during the reign of King Maha Chakkraphat. 🛕🙏The temple has an old chapel made of brick and mortar with a curved base resembling the hull of a junk. It is in a dilapidated condition. There is a chapel with a wooden door carved deep into the wood for 4 floors, making it look like a three-dimensional image with patterns of flora, trees, forests, mountains, animals, and people. There are also windows of different shapes. The Fine Arts Department has reserved it as a national object in 1962. ..In the past, the villagers called this temple "Wat Yai", "Wat Chom Prasat", or "Wat Yai Chom Prasat". Later, during the reign of King Chulalongkorn, he gave it a new name, "Wat Sakhon Buri", along with granting 39 volumes of Tripitaka in each cabinet, as this temple is a royal temple..
