Shrine of Lord Kim Sin

Shrine of Lord Kim Sin is located in the fishing village, Village No. 8, Tambon Phanthai Norasing, Mueang District, Samut Sakhon Province. It was first established in 1982. According to the villagers, Mr. Winai Ruangsri is a medium of Lord Kim Sin. He will be possessed every Thursday at 1:00 p.m. He is famous for curing sick villagers. The villagers therefore believed in him and built a shrine for people to worship. They hold a ceremony on the 9th day of the waxing moon of the 2nd lunar month every year. There are community sports competitions and free entertainment such as Likay, movies, and lion dances. Inside the shrine, there is a large white statue of the Goddess of Mercy. When you walk to the back of the Goddess of Mercy, you can also see the beautiful Gulf of Thailand. #WinterSeasideTravel #Worship #GoddessofMercy
