Orcia Valley: 2 Stunning Scenic Spots

While there are many spots featuring these picturesque cypress trees, this particular location is the most popular for its beautifully arranged trees 😍. When taking photos here, tourists are very considerate and patiently wait their turn 🫶. Visitors to the Orcia Valley are known for their excellent manners 💓. You can even ask the person behind you to take your photo, and everyone is happy to help 🫶. 🚗 This spot is so popular that even tour buses stop here, and there’s a parking lot available (free of charge). ⛪️ Vitaleta Chapel A tiny chapel perched alone on a hilltop, this is another iconic view synonymous with Tuscany. The structure looks different depending on whether you view it from the front or the back, and both perspectives are equally charming. When I visited in early May, the back of the chapel was surrounded by blooming yellow flowers, creating a stunning scene. What amazed me even more was the brightness at 7:30 PM. In May, the sun sets in Tuscany around 8:30 PM, so at 7:30 PM, the landscape was bathed in golden light, making the grasslands shimmer beautifully. This chapel is incredibly popular. Even at 7:30 PM, the parking lot was full, but there were surprisingly few people around. From the free parking lot, it’s about a 7-minute walk along a gravel path to reach the chapel.
