⛴️Trip to St. Gilgen and Wolfgangsee, a quiet lake and blue village

I was excited as I passed the Fuschlsee outside the window, and when Lake Wolfgang finally appeared... I thought I could not breathe because of the silence. The village with the blue sky, clear lake, and cute houses seemed unreal, and the view from the hill on one side of the village was like a picture from a postcard. 📍How to get there: • From Austria Trend Hotel Salzburg Mitte → 10 minutes by taxi to Salzburg Central Station or bus no. 3 (15 minutes) → Take bus no. 150 from the bus stop in front of Salzburg Central Station → Get off at St. Gilgen stop (approx. 50 minutes) → Wolfgangsee is a 3-5 minute walk away 🌿Attractions: • Wolfgangsee Promenade – Picturesque scenery just by walking along the lakeside • Zwölferhorn Cable Car – 33 euros round trip, panoramic view of the Alps from the top • St. Gilgen Town Square – Alleys filled with small and pretty shops • Mozart's mother's birthplace – A meaningful place to visit located in the middle of the town • Angusta Café, LIVA – Emotional cafes where you can relax while looking at the lake 🏨Hotels: • Austria Trend Hotel Salzburg Mitte • Good access to public transportation, clean and modern interior • High satisfaction for the price, quiet stay in a business hotel Like 🍽️Recommended food & restaurants: • Angusta Café – Right in front of the lake, brunch and cake are the best • LIVA Café – I like the emotional interior, coffee, and light meal • JOHANN – The traditional Austrian food (Tafelspitz, goulash) we had for dinner was excellent • Strobl-Stüberl – A warm home-style meal in the village of St. Gilgen 🛍️Shopping information: • Shops in the village of St. Gilgen – Alpine-themed magnets, traditional Austrian dolls, handkerchiefs • Salzburg Central Station – Souvenir corner, Mozart chocolate, Austrian soap • Zwölferhorn Cable Car Souvenir Shop – Alpine view postcards, mountaineering-themed accessories 👍🏻Recommended traveler style: • People who love natural scenery and want to walk around a quiet lakeside village • Couples who want to focus on leisure and emotion instead of the busy city • Families who want a different experience by taking a cable car 🥰One-line travel destination review: Lake and mountains, and St. Gilgen, a quiet village, was the warmest place where I could empty my mind and face nature.
