Located in the northern part of Kyushu Island, Sasebo is not a popular destination for tourists. Most people travel to Nagasaki and Fukuoka because of their history and culture. Sasebo is the place you should visit if you want to explore the local culture and experience how locals live. The environment, such as seaside, rural areas and foods are amazing. Nothing like the ordinary Japanese cuisine that you would find in Tokyo.
