Because they love drinking wine, they thought of growing grapes in Thailand. Later, they traveled to the United States and met Mr. John and Ms. Sandy Arn, the owners of winemakers Arn's Winery in Napa Valley. They invited the couple to see the land they had bought and kept for a long time. Mr. John took a soil sample to analyze and found that it was suitable for growing grapes. Mr. Surachai decided to start a vineyard in 2002. The origin of the name Silverlake comes from when Mr. Surachai was standing looking at Huai Tu Reservoir, which is next to the vineyard. When the sun was about to set, the light reflected off the surface of the reservoir. It sparkles with a beautiful silver sheen, which is the origin of the name Silverlake, which means Silver Lake.
