Kula Island

Koh Kula is located in Sawi District, Chumphon Province, under the supervision of the Mu Ko Thale Chumphon National Park. It is another island worth visiting. It has white sandy beaches and crystal clear water where you can see corals and schools of fish. You can snorkel and see corals from the beach. Many aquatic animals live there, including sea urchins, tiger conchs, and tiger fish. If you don’t want to swim, you can walk and see the corals from the long pier in front of the island. Koh Kula has two prominent beaches: the one in the park’s accommodation zone, which has a long, wide beach, and the other one, which is a pier. This beach on the other side is not very wide, but the water is so clear that you can see rocks and corals. You can snorkel and see corals from the beach. This beach is popular with tourists who can pier their boats in front and walk around. The best time to visit is from January to May, when the water is the clearest. In addition to snorkeling, there are also kayaking activities, which you can paddle around the island in an hour and a half. Koh Kula has a sea turtle nursery where turtles often come to lay their eggs on Koh Kula.
